The Australian Council of Trade Unions comprises 38 affiliated unions who together represent around 1.8 million workers and their families. The organisation advocates for the rights and conditions of working people on a range of issues such as wages, working conditions, superannuation, equity, diversity and health and safety.
The organisation provides information about the importance of mentally healthy workplaces and how workers can contribute to creating mentally healthy workplaces. It is a member of the Mentally Healthy Workplace Alliance, an alliance of business, union, community and government organisations working together to promote and create mentally healthy workplaces.
