Privacy collection notice
We, the National Mental Health Commission, are responsible for administering the Mentally Healthy Workplace Platform (Platform) administered as part of the National Workplace Initiative.
We take your privacy seriously and will handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
This notice explains how we manage personal information handled by the Platform. You should read this notice with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
What personal information we collect, use and disclose
You can browse the Platform without providing any personal information to us.
We may collect your personal information to administer the Platform if you:
- provide feedback on the Platform;
- create a Platform account using your name or a pseudonym;
- create or share a collection of Platform content;
- save your learning progress or filter preferences; or
- make a contribution to the Platform by submitting a case study or resource.
Unless we collect this information, we may not be able to provide the Platform service to you.
How we use and disclose your personal information
We will use and disclose your personal information to administer the Platform.
We will not use or disclose your personal information for any other purpose without your consent, unless authorised or required by law, or where permitted under the Privacy Act 1988.
Contributions published on the Platform can be accessed by people in Australia and overseas. We will only publish contributions with the consent of any person or business mentioned in the case study or resource.
Google analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymised details about the functions and search terms you use. Google Analytics uses cookies to obtain this data. We collect these details to improve the Platform. Further information about Google Analytics, including how to opt-out, is set out in the privacy notice on the Google website.
Accessing, changing or deleting your personal information
You can access and change your account information by signing in to the Platform and editing your account details.
If you delete your account, we do not keep your name, email address or collections. However, we will retain anonymised information about the pages you viewed.
