MATES in Construction provides community development programs to reduce the high suicide level among Australian building and construction workers. It provides evidence-based training and other resources to help building and construction businesses identify and minimise psychological risks in the workplace. 

MATES supports workers in need through case management and a 24/7 help line. It also conducts research on mental health issues in the building and construction industry.
