About this resource

Young people provide significant value to the workplace, but can be vulnerable to a range of mental health and wellbeing challenges, such as job strain, inadequate supervision, limited networks, competing life pressures, workplace harm, workplace bullying and harassment, and substance abuse.

This guide outlines ways organisations can support young workers and those entering the workforce, and things these workers can do to support themselves.

The case study summarises initiatives by energy provider Viva Energy to support graduates with the transition from university to work. It includes tips and advice for others.
